Literacy New York - Fulton, Montgomery, and Schoharie Counties offers tutoring to improve reading, writing, math, and English speaking skills. Three programs are offered: Basic Literacy, GED Preparatory Instruction, and English Language Learners.
- Learners must be 16 years of age or older
- Have a desire to learn and are willing to do homework
- Need to find or improve a job, life, or communication skills
- Need one-on-one instruction
- Speak at a low level of conversational English (ELL learners only)
- ALL SERVICES ARE FREE, ONE-ON-ONE AND PRIVATE
Learners who do not meet these criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
